Without long-term Phase 3 safety data we can not speculate on safety. We know the vaccine is effective and has minimal side-effects at time of administration and will "mostly likely" be safe in the long term. "most likely" and "maybes" have no place in science. Until we have phase 3 data, we have no idea on long term safety.

Important to note that even with long term safety data there are still safety issues that are discovered that we didn't previously know. medicine is a constantly changing and adapting. We need to apply what we learn from studies and make new recommendations.

With all that said....these vaccine show promise but emergency authorization without proper safety data is reckless.
